Meet Julie Barton, LPC...
Julie has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for the past 10 years and has been trained in CBT, Trauma focused CBT, family systems, Mindfulness approaches, Narrative Therapy, Somatic and Integrative methods. She is a Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional that incorporates evidenced based mind body and lifestyle interventions to treat clients holistically. She helps clients when they would like to collaborate with other professionals in the community if it is discovered some of their are needs outside of her scope of practice.
She has experience helping clients during major life transitions, healing from traumatic events, coping with anxiety and depression, navigating relationship issues and communication, improving boundaries with yourself or others, and improving self-image. Julie has worked with children, teens and adults of all ages in school, in patient, home based and office based settings and currently works with teens and adults in office and through telehealth.
Julie is always striving to remove shame in the narrative of your story that so often holds us back from joy and growth. She seems to provide a calming and safe environment and experience in therapy.
